And the All About Dogs Brentwood ‘Ruff-le’ Winners are …

It’s the news many of you have been waiting for all week – who are the lucky winners of our Ruff-le extraordinaire, from our appearance at All About Dogs Brentwood last weekend?

Before, we reveal the names of the three winners, who’ll soon be in possession of over £600 worth of prizes, let’s talk about the two-day fido fiesta …

Torrential downpours and gale force winds aside, Basil and I had a brilliant time, making lots of new friends of both the human and hound variety. Decked out in his jazzy new Lime Sherbet lead, collar and bow tie set from Ditsy Pet, Basil took to his judging appointment like a pro, sniffing out Essex’s Best Dressed dog from a high standard of trussed-up-to-the-nines entries. And despite only being able to have our retro kissing booth up for just a few hours each day due to the weather, Basil managed to giveaway 102 kisses, raising £51 for charity. Head to our Facebook and Instagram pages for pictures of Basil in action.

With hundreds of pooches taking to the fun dog show with gusto, competing for titles such as Butchest Essex Boy Dog and Best Dog with Young Handler, our accompanying Bark Busters Home Dog Training team raised £900 for their nominated charities – German Shepherd Rescue Elite and Essex based Wanderers Haven Animal Sanctuary. Hats off to them for their efforts!

So back to the bit you’ve been waiting for – the WINNERS of our RUFF-LE! The three lucky WINNERS (drawn just minutes ago from a box full ‘o numbers) to receive wooftacular prizes from Creature ClothesEdwyn UKPut TartBilly + MargotLovesniffysWoof & BrewCharley ChauPoppy & RufusPetsPyjamasScruffy ChopsEssex Pooch Palace and Phileas Dogg ARE:

If you are one of our lucky winners, look out for a confirmation email of your win in your inbox. You have until 5pm on Monday 19 May to acknowledge and claim your prize before another winner is selected. Basil and I will be personally delivering your prize at a convenient time to you.

We received a lot of assistance for our appearance at All About Dogs, so thanks go to Jo Milgrew at Bark Busters Home Dog Training for asking us to be part of the show in the first place, Jo’s hubbie and hardworking team, Bespoke Belle for the loan of their retro kissing booth and Christine of K9 to5 Doggie Daycare for transporting the aforementioned kissing booth. I’d also like to thank the other half and the mum-in-law for standing in a cold, wet field across the two days, as well as all the donors for our fab prizes!
