Meet Norbert -  a mighty mongrel, who judging by the picture is growing old very gracefully at 13 years old. This handsome hound was pupped while having a quick break in the park, away from PR types in a busy office. He's a good dog when he's doing is tricks - bow wows and chasing his tail! His naughty moments are when he barks at the front door. His BFF is George a fellow Battersea boy.

He’s only gone and done it! UK ugly dog Mugly has won the high-pawfile title of the World’s Ugliest Dog at the annual contest in California and we are betting that he’s currently on ‘cloud ca-nine’.

He's best behaved when he's having a cup of tea on a Sunday and sitting on his dad’s knee. He doesn't like the hoover and is naughty when he chases squirrels. Hounds, famous dog owners and celebs of the pup-loving kind hit the town on Monday night to show their sup-pawt for the annual Dogs Trust Honours Awards, which recognises dogs that have performed outstanding acts of bravery, dedication or devotion – and just like Dawn Porter and her dog Potato above, we were there to join them!

Dancing dog Pudsey and owner Ashleigh are top of the pups after being crowned winners of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent. The duo won over judges and the public with their high-energy performance to the Mission:Impossible theme, and their win has scored 17 year-old Ashleigh and cross-breed Pudsey a whopping £500,000 prize. That's a whole lotta dough when you're dealing in doggie biscuits!

Say hello to Alan a two year old Toy Poodle from Woking. He was caught on camera during a run in the park - apparently he loves nothing more than the wind rushing through his fur as he runs around. He loves to spend time at home with his Yorkshire Terrier girlfriend Dizzy while his dog mum is at work. His pet hate is deodorant being sprayed!
